There are two types of health insurance (Vision Care Plans and Medical Insurance) that will help pay for your eye care services and products. We are participating providers for many Vision Care Plans and Medical Insurance Plans.
The Vision Care Plans that we currently accept are EyeMed, VSP (Vision Service Plan), and VBA (Vision Benefits of America).
The Medical Insurance Plans that we currently accept are Aetna, Independence Blue Cross, AmeriHealth, Keystone, Personal Choice, Cigna, United HealthCare and Medicare.
It is important that you understand that your vision care plan covers routine eye care only (nearsightedness, farsightedness, normal astigmatism, and presbyopia). The doctors at Pinnacle are commited to providing the highest quality eye care. They will examine for many conditions such as glaucoma, dry eyes, cataracts, retinal disease, and many others. If your eye exam involves a medical condition related to your eye that requires specific counseling, documentation, follow-up care, regular monitoring or referral to a surgeon, then your visit is not covered by your Vision Plan.
